A guiding hand towards new employment

Being out of work or facing redundancy can be a daunting prospect, so if you are looking to get back into employment the Transition Project is here to help you.  Staffed by a group of experienced volunteers our free drop in clinic can provide you with practical support and guidance to make the next step back into the workplace including: 

• Help with identifying your transferable skills.
• Preparing an effective CV.
• How and where to find jobs - internet job searching, online networks, recruitment agencies.
• Interview skills and techniques.

Just as important - we’ll have light refreshments for those who just want an informal chat, or bounce some ideas around with our experienced and friendly team.

We will be running every Monday morning and every other Monday evening (see When we Meet). Just turn up. In order to help us help you, please download the questionnaire below, which you can fill in directly on your screen - click on a tick-box to tick it, or type text in other places. You can then print it off to bring with you on your first visit, or email back to us. To email it back, you should save it on your computer with a file name of 'yourname Transition' and email it as an attachment to transition@stbarnabas.co.uk
