Hope North London

Hope NL FINAL web version

Hope North London is a sister charity of St Barnabas Church.

“Doing life together” is a hallmark of the work of Hope North London. We’re not an organisation that just runs programmes and events for people; instead we strive to work with people in everything that we do.

Hope North London doesn’t just serve some of the most disadvantaged communities in North London, its team leaders and helpers are part of them… inspiring transformation from the inside out.

Until early 2014, Hope North London was known as ‘Hope House’.

Enterprise Programme

Hope Café is the first enterprise project of Hope North London.

We are employing people who have faced academic and work disadvantages. We aim to give them a fresh start, boost their confidence and develop their work skills – encouraging ambition for a fulfilling life, empowered as they build a new career.

Our holistic programme will last 12-18 months, equipping staff with transferable skills for the working world through mentoring, life skills input and on the job training.

Our staff will be paid the London Living wage for the hours they work.

Come in and encourage our wonderful staff, enjoy speciality coffee and indulge in our freshly baked cakes and other delicious food.

Hope Café will initially be open Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9am-4pm. (It is closed during lockdown, but will reopen as soon as we can)
