For many years St Barnabas has sent its members overseas to do mission work. World Mission Support is the body within St Bs charged with providing care and support before, during and after members’ time serving as mission partners, and we are always keen to hear about church members who are considering mission – both long and short term.
World Mission Support comes together once every six weeks to meet, worship, pray and discuss. After a time of worship World Mission Support splits into three teams: two ‘long-term’ teams and one ‘short-term’ team. These teams pray for the mission partners that they represent, and discuss and address any particular support needs that they have. World Mission Support Core Team supports the reps to do this, and oversees the care that World Mission Support Partners receive.
